Conquests of Greece (possible title, actual title unknown) was to be the second original game in the Conquests series.

Background[]

Early on Christy Marx never planned to do a series set in one particular culture (English history). The next game she had in mind was about Greek goddesses.

Christie Marx was thinking of a potential game in the Conquests series based around Greek legends. It was to be set in in Ancient Greece following the ancient Goddesses.

Due to Roberta Williams asking for her to do a Robin Hood game, she ended up going in that direction for the second game instead, thus Conquests of the Longbow was born.

Contrary, to what InterAction claimed, and apparently was pushing for, Christy Marx never had the intent to continue the King Athur series. [1]

  1. I never had any serious plans for doing games centered on the other knights. Initially, I hadn't planned to do a series set in one particular culture (English history). The next game I had in mind was about Greek goddesses. It was only because Roberta wanted a Robin Hood game that I ended up going in that direction. As I wrote, the second game I had planned to do was centered on Greek goddesses and Greek mythology. It became a Robin Hood game because Roberta indicated to me that they wanted a Robin Hood game. I didn't mind going in that direction. The third game I was in the earliest stages of thinking about would have been Conquests of Charlemagne, but I parted ways with SoL at that point.
