Hubert is a guard and one of the Sheriff's Men. He is the guard at the front gates of Nottingham Castle.
Day 3[]
Hubert is first seen on that day, when Robin can approach the Castle with the Beggar's rags. When he approaches the guard or asks for charity, Hubert kicks him out.
If Robin shows to him the slipper, he will joke that no lady would give this to a beggar and that he probably found it on the ground. However if he later shows to him the silver comb, he will arrest him for theft.
