Mohammed was a former soldier and selling weapons in the Street of David in Jerusalem. His shop was beside the Jaffa Gate right under Mari's apartment.
He was closing his shop and about to leave when King Arthur entered the city, only to have his purse stolen by the Thief. To remedy his loss, Mohammed bought from Arthur his mule and left.

If the player types give mule then Mohammed will take it as a gift and won't pay Arthur. Without money, the game is unwinnable and the guards will soon kill Arthur mistaking him for the Thief.
Above his shop, there is the Latin word ARMA (weapons).
There are also the Arabic words دجاج كنتاكى or Dagag Kentaky (Chicken Kentucky), a possible reference to KFC.
